Pastor Terry and his wife of over forty years, Vickie, are originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. Married in 1978 they have two children. Terry served as a bi-vocational Youth Pastor and Minister of Music between 1984 and 1992. Leaving the Industrial Electronics Industry in 1992 where Terry had climbed the ranks from working in the warehouse to becoming the field sales manager with responsibilities including seven field sales representatives and a market of thirty-five million dollars, Terry and Vickie moved with their children to Huntington, West Virginia where Terry was the Minister of Music at Jefferson Avenue Church of God. They remained there from 1992 until July of 2003.
In that time, Terry received his undergraduate degree from Marshall University and served on several councils and committees. He also was elevated to the credentials of Ordained Bishop in the Church of God with headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee.
In July of 2003, Terry felt his season was complete at Jefferson Avenue Church of God and began seeking what would be the next chapter. That chapter became the Tri-State Worship Center where they are the founding Pastors. Starting at a local motel conference room and then moving into a rented facility, Tri-State Worship Center was officially planted in November of 2003.
In September of 2010, TSWC was relocated to a 21,000 square foot facility that has become its hub of ministry.
Terry and Vickie’s children started families in the area. Terry and Vickie look forward to finishing the race in South Point in hopes to make a difference in the Tri-State Area.
